Technique
To capture the details on a Vancouver Red Maple as perfectly as we can, we did not merely use solid colours on our rug which would make it very rigid. Instead, we created a rug with a multitude of gradient and layers, similar to what a real leaf would look like.
We included elements of green in the browns, elements of orange in the reds, elements of gold in the yellow. These unique layers of colours is what makes this rug detailed and life-like.
Material
This rug is made of a unique blend of 5% Sheeps Wool and 95% Nylon. It is common for natural wool to pill and shed. Hence, we kept our usage of Sheeps Wool low, making this rug a more durable and practical choice.
The rug backing is made of 100% cotton, woven tightly and densely together.
Our Inspiration
Inspired by the beautiful Red Maple Leaf which covers the streets of Vancouver during autumn, giving the city a burst of colour with a vibrant palette of orange, red and yellow.

Rug Maintenance
Vacuum Regularly
Vacuum as needed using the suction attachment only, no bristles required.
Spot Clean Only
Blot spilled liquids immediately and spot clean with a damp white cloth and plain water. Do not use soap or cleaning products as they could damage the rug. Deep stains require professional cleaning.
Rotate Rug
Rotate rug every 6 to 12 months. A rug that is never rotated will wear unevenly, with wear and tear in the “high traffic” areas.
Cut Loose Yarns
Do not pull on loose yarns.
If necessary, clip them to be even with pile height.
